Agropol
Support for European cross-border regions in the agribusiness sector

About Us

After more than two years of intensive work, the Agropol project partners want to share the lessons learned on how to develop a European cross-border model for rural regions based on the experiences in two pilot regions between Carinthia (Austria) and Slovenia and between Portugal and Spain (the EUROACE Euroregion). Three dissemination events will be organised in Brussels, in Klagenfurt (Austria) and Foros de Vale Figue near Lisbon (Portugal) in autumn 2018.

The Agropol project supported by the European Commission (DG AGRI) was launched in January 2016 with the aim to provide and develop practical knowledge on how to strengthen agriculture and food production through cross-border cooperation.
